HOUSTON—Specialty appliance company, Equator Advanced Appliances will debut a new, compact home refrigerator this month. The stainless, Equator 375 Tall Refrigerator promises to renovate small space while providing large capacity for chilling and freezing foods.

Well known for its state-of-the-art compact home appliance designs, Equator continues to demonstrate its dedication to technological innovation. The Bottom mounted Tall Model 375 Refrigerator features a refrigerator capacity of 7.6 cubic feet and 3.2 cubic feet of freezer space in a slim upright unit. At a stately 72.8-inches high and slim 23.2-inches wide x 24.6-inches deep, the compact free-standing real stainless refrigerator packs a powerful punch in features like Fast Freeze which freezes ice or other foods faster than usual. Conveniently-sized exterior handles provide easy access, while interior LED lighting, three glass shelves and three individual baskets keep food at precise temperatures for optimum storage.

The Tall Refrigerator will be marketed under the Conserv brand, a topline brand acquired by Equator from Kyocera in 1999. Originally produced in Denmark, the tall refrigerator developed dedicated following among space conscious consumers based in highly urbanised environments including New York, Chicago, Seattle and Los Angeles. Its small footprint and tall size enabled customers living in highly compact locations to maximize the space available without compromising on usable amenities.

Shortcomings in the previous model, included manual controls and a manual defrost system, both, cumbersome and not reflective of the company’s overall easy to use products. The new model is frost free and has digital controls on the exterior of the front door, allowing for maintenance free operation and changing of functions without opening the door, thereby preserving steady internal temperature.

Equator’s best-selling appliances, which offer unique energy-, space- and time-saving features have secured it numerous design and industry awards. Equator products are available at Sears, Best Buy, Sam’s Club, Costco, Home Depot, and other leading home appliance retailers.
